The sculpture OCTOPLASMA was bred by colonizing a three-dimensional matrix of human liver cells (hepatocytes) and fibroblasts in vitro in a bioreactor. The preservation took place in a formalin solution, as in medical preparations. The shape is a hybrid and is anatomically composed of a human liver and an octopus.
