DAIMON, 2007
network installation, wood objects, cables, computer/audio technology, dimensions variable
software: Peter Chiochetti

DAIMON translates information processes into movement and sound. When bots or demons of Internet search engines visit the installation’s server, the objects begin to vibrate and to emit low frequency sounds. By making visible and materialising the search, control and navigation routines, we become aware of everyday processes of automated systems in many ways reminiscent of animism and fetishism.
