A larger-than-life, carved hand moves over the wall as if by magic, leaving traces of charcoal. The performance of the infinite line results from global risk assessments by the Lloyd's of London insurance exchange. The data is transferred to the hand in real time from a computer server in the form of the container ship DAIMONIA. In contrast to conventional representations of boom and bust movements, the data is subjected to a new topology. In the course of time and the events of the market, overlays constantly emerge, which become increasingly dense and manifest in a dark cloud. The hand evokes associations with Adam Smith's "invisible hand", but apparently it is an amputated hand steered by higher forces like an occult ouija board.
